PERSIMMON was recently showcased at the International Congress on Science in Skiing (ICSS) 2025, held in Val di Fiemme, Italy. Prof. Matej Supej from the University of Ljubljana, a key partner in the project, presented how PERSIMMON’s biodegradable smart patches and bodyNET technology can revolutionize performance monitoring in winter sports.
The ICSS Congress gathers leading researchers in sports science, providing an excellent platform to introduce PERSIMMON’s multimodal sensor technology for real-time tracking of biometric data such as body temperature, movement, and cardiovascular activity. These advanced wearables offer sustainable, high-precision solutions for both professional athletes and sports medicine applications.
This presentation marks an important step in expanding PERSIMMON’s outreach to the sports technology community, fostering collaborations for future applications in elite performance monitoring and injury prevention.
