On September 29th, 2025, the PERSIMMON project was presented at the 1st International Congress of Human in Motion (ICHM), held in Portorož, Slovenia from September 28th to October 1st. The event brought together researchers, professionals, and policymakers to explore the role of physical activity in shaping healthier societies.
Jaka Kovše, researcher at the University of Ljubljana – Faculty of Sport, delivered a talk on early-stage research into material selection for the smart skin patch being developed within PERSIMMON. His presentation took place on the opening day of the congress and attracted interest from attendees across disciplines.
The session introduced the public to the biocompatible and sustainable materials being explored for wearable health monitoring, aligning with PERSIMMON’s mission to develop eco-friendly, AI-powered smart patches. The congress provided a valuable platform for scientific exchange and public engagement, reinforcing the project’s commitment to transparency and interdisciplinary collaboration.
