On Friday, 24 October 2025, Uppsala University hosted a dedicated webinar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Innovation Management for the PERSIMMON consortium. The event was reserved for project partners and focused on legal, strategic, and operational aspects of innovation within collaborative research.
The session opened with an introduction to the principles of IPR by Pontus Skråmstadius, IP Advisor at Uppsala University Innovation, followed by a presentation on innovation management strategies by Nhils Forslund, Business Advisor at the same institution.
After a Q&A session, Johan Asker, Deputy Head of Unit at Uppsala University Legal Affairs, provided an overview of the PERSIMMON consortium agreement, clarifying roles, responsibilities, and legal frameworks for cooperation.
The webinar concluded with an open discussion, allowing partners to raise questions and share perspectives on managing innovation and protecting intellectual assets within the project.
